Up for sale is a rare and awesome piece: A resotone accoustimer Ted Klum mouthpiece for tenor, hand-finished at a 95" tip opening by Ted himself! These mouthpieces seem incredibly rare as they are no longer in production and from what I've seen people saying, they don't generally part with them. It plays like a DREAM: warm, very resonant, INCREDIBLY responsive and takes air beautifully! Definitely on the darker/warmer side of the spectrum sonically. The tip and rails have been done perfectly by Ted and are straight and super thin, and its only got a minor scuff on the right rail (the damage seems only superficial...i can't even feel it when i run my finger over it). Overall a super-rare and OUTSTANDING player in fantastic shape!
No ligature or cap, mouthpiece only. I always package everything really well and have never had anything damaged in transit.
I'm honestly not entirely sure i want to let this piece go, but money is tight at the moment and some pieces from the collection have to go.
