Armstrong Alto Saxophone Outfit

Offered is an Armstrong alto saxophone outfit. Condition is "Used". The serial # is 4001406. I think this was manufactured by Conn when it was owned by UMI. That is my best guess. The instrument is in good condition and it plays although I think it needs a good regulation by a qualified technician. The pads are in good shape and all the springs are intact.The lacquer is about 90% or better but look at the pictures and make your own determination. There are a couple of dents in the bottom (pictured) and the bell has been straightened. The nickel keys look great and it does have the original neck. There is an
E-Z tone mouthpiece, a USA ligature, and a cap. I doubt any of those are original but they work fine. It is in the original case which is in good shape and protects the instrument well. The center latch is missing but the two draw latches are plenty. The interior is in good shape as well. I think with a good “tune-up” this would make someone a great student saxophone.
